I notice you have two Antivirus programs running. Recommend you uninstall one. They often conflict with each other and one is generally all that's needed. With Norton as difficult as it is to uninstall, I would probably keep it. Also appears you are using a popup blocker and the google toolbar. The google toolbar should be sufficient and recommend dumping the other.

Is this a shortcut icon for internet connection or something?

Looks suspicious since it doesn't show what executable starts it. I would personally fix it also. If it causes a problem, it can always be put back by clicking the config button in HJT, select the backup tab, locate it in the list, highlight and click restore.
