Do you want to make a slide show or just a backup copy of the photos you want? Most burning software that comes with your burner will let you backup the photo files you want as a data CD.

Found this at Kodak's Easyshare FAQ:
    Question:
Why doesn't the Koak Easyshare v3.0 software recognize my CD-R drive?

    Answer: Answer last updated:12-11-03
If you have recently installed the CD-R you may need to uninstall and reinstall the EasyShare Software. This uninstall and reinstall should allow the software to recognize the drive.

Another possibility is that your CD Writer isn't one of the drives that our software recognizes.

The Kodak Easyshare software installs the CD Writer drivers from a number of manufacturer's at the time of software installation. The list of supported writers is listed at http://www.kodak.com/global/en/service/products/ekn026079.jhtml Not all manufacturers make and models of CD writers are supported. There are no additional drivers available for CD writer makes and modes that are not currently on the list of supported drives.

Please consider working with your computer support team to see if there is an alternative CD Burning software that they might use that is located on your machine that can be used to archive your picture files to a CD.

Thanks for the responses, I've talked to Dell and the Easyshare people and the best answer I got was that there is to be some new software coming out in May that may include my CD burner. I did however find a separate folder that Easyshare stores the pictures that allowed me to use a trird party software burner program to make a CD.
