    Hi all.
Here. this Folder seems only able to store/accept internet shortcuts (url files) and subfolders containing url files.
Does anyone know how to add an item to the Favorites folder that can load a locally/LAN stored program eg C:\Windows\Outlook.exe or D:\MyBat.pif etc ?
    regards

You can use the Links folder under Favorites to accomplish that.
    Just drag/drop a shortcut there.

I've never done it, but dragging a shortcut anywhere else in Favorites should also work.

    Thanks WhitPhil - works fine.
Reason I asked is that I am looking at Netvizualise Favorites
Organiser / Lucidstep Software v 1.40, which has a slick way
of showing your Favorites folder, with an auto-hide toolbar.
I wanted it to show other links, like Outlook - and now it does
    - Links folder not used.
    Maybe try it out ?
    regards

I was pretty sure that it would work, since I have done it with Links and Links is really just another folder in Favorites.

I use the Links folder to hold my very frequently accessed favorites, so I just need to click on on icon and they are all there. I had previously played with putting my frequently, but not AS frequently accessed apps there, but sort of gave up on them (I kept forgetting that I had done it).
