Disk Cleaner Tool

I am trying to locate a product that I have used successfully and frequently but lost on computer crash. This was obtained from Rose City Software Shareware.

The product is "Disk Cleaner ", manufacturer unknown, a small pink funnel shaped icon. Very simple and fast but more efficient than some of my high priced programs.

If anyone has any info on this please contact me.

In all honesty, I am not sure what you mean by "I also do not remember a big screenshot with it or possibly no screenshot ", but if downloading from that referenced URL does not give you the program with the pink icon, then so be it. Here is what Google offers on Disk Cleaner

That's It! You Found It! I love that little tool and can't live without it. I run it between programs often as it is so fast and does such a thorough job deleting all the junk. I highly recommend it. Try it and see if you don't agree. Thanks a million! Marilyn

marilynwp--Thanks. That looks suspiciously like the Disk Cleaner tool that comes with Win98 and maybe later Windows versions. Of course, if you had a computer crash you may have lost it, but it also may have been reinstalled when you reinstalled your OS.
You find it by clicking My Computer|right click on your hard drive (probably C:\)|General tab|click the button Disk Cleanup and follow directions. You can check various boxes and have DC clean out different parts of the cache, etc.
But glad you found the one you wanted.

 

Well it hasn't been on any of my Windows and I have had 98, ME and Windows XP Home Edition. If they had it they should have kept it as their tools do nothing for me. I got it off of Rose City Software along with Zip Central which is also miraculous.
