I've got Outlook Express and for the past month or so, I've been getting emails from a number of different addresses and all they say is something like:
    To Veiw the File

and it has an attachment to click on.

I have never opened up any of the attachments, because I'm afraid they may contain a virous and + I don't know any of these email addresses that these are coming from. I tried replying back and asking what the attachment was all about, but I never get an answer.

I started blocking all of these emails out, but everyday, there is always a new email from some address I've never seen and everyone of them say the same thing about "To View the File" and they all have an attachment.

The addresses that these eamils are coming from are all kinds of different ones from aol to etc etc.

What should I do with all of these emails containing these attachments ? Everytime I block one, another 2 or 3 come the next day from another address. I have no problem at all getting these emails, because I usually get 1-4 a day and all will be coming from different email addresses.

Is there somewhere I can find out what these attachments are or is there somewhere I can leave the email addresses and see if someone else can find this info out or if these attachments do contain virouses, what can I do ???

Thanks in advance for anyone with a little help to put a stop to this. I just don't want all these addresses to potentially be spreading any virouses.

Pour a cup of coffee and read this account of those infected emails. People actually opened them, and filled out the personal info!

DragRacer, if people had the common sense that you do, they wouldn't be in the messes they are in now!

As advised, just keep deleting them and never, never reply to any of them. You are just telling them that they have reached a legitimate email address.

    NOAHDFEAR,

These idiots sending these emails must be off on weekends, but as soon as I get any of them, I'll forward them all your way and see what you can make of them.

P.S. Allow me to suggest MailWasher Pro v4.0 !! Google-search it, download it, try it free for a month. If it works for you - mail 'em a check. I did and I have never regretted it. :D
