I'm having a problem with my Netscape download manager. I can't seem to delete anything from it. And there is only a couple from the list that I can even click on. Could someone please help me fix this?

    Welcome to the Forum, daveis39!

    Hi daveis39,

Close Netscape and Quick Launch. Open Windows Explorer and navigate to your salted (*.slt) folder. See: Profile Folder Location

Open the salted folder, and scroll down to: downloads.rdf
    Delete the file
This will remove all files from the Download Manager.

If you continue to have problems, let us know.

    Hi Dave,

This is where you will find the downloads.rdf file:

    Close Netscape and Quick Launch
    Open Windows Explorer

If you have Windows XP or 2000, your *.slt folder will be located here:
    C:\Documents and Settings/user_name/Application Data/Mozilla/Profiles/profilename/*.slt
    NOTE:
These files are hidden by default.
    To see hidden files:
    1. On the Tools menu in Windows Explorer, click Folder Options
    2. Click the View tab
    3. Under Hidden files and folders, click Show hidden files and folders

If you have Windows 95, 98, or ME, your *.slt folder will be located here:
    C:\Windows/Application Data/Mozilla/Profiles/profilename/*.slt
