I have two computers each has a USB hub attached. On one when I insert the memory stick the stick is immediatly detected and displayed in explorer. On the other the stick is not displayed until a reboot. Is this a setting that I can adjust?
    Thanks for any advice.

In some cases certain devices do not work well/consistently through a hub - try plugging the the device direct into a USB port.

Are both the hubs the same?

If you swap the hubs does the need to reboot change too?

Hve tried two different brands of hubs on the computer that needs the reboot but not the brand hub that does not need to reboot. I will try that and let you know how it works.
