    Hello,
On my network (AD - 2K Server) I hide hard drives from my computer.
At this time, I select 'hide A,B,C,D drives'.
One of the computer has an 'E' hard drive.
Is it possible to hide this 'E' drive (and still allow the network drives) without the need for a 3rd party application, or is it impossible?

    Help appreciated.

Hide them when folks take a look over the network or hide them when someone is working from the PC console itself?

If you are talking about stopping a drive from showing up as a network drive, sharing it with a $ should do the trick. So share it as E$

    Hi.

No, I have it set so the LOCAL HARD DRIVES are hidden at the console in 'My Computer'. IE they only get their home network drive; and cannot see/access the local disks.

At the moment, I have it set to 'hide A/B/C/D drives'. I have a computer with an 'E' hard drive and as its only set to hide A/B/C/D, it doesn't hide the E drive.

I was just wondering if I can extend the 'hide drives' policy so I can decide what drives are hidden.
