    is there a prog, i can use to read web pages i have saved to my hard drive?

    most probably a dumb answer for a dumb question, but i aint afraid to ask, ... how else am i to learn :)

    verdi --The answer depends to some extent on what file type you selected in the "Save as Type" line when you did the saving (File|Save as). If you saved as .htm or .mht files, they should open with IE as brett has suggested. If this is not happening or you saved as a different file type, maybe you have to reassociate the file type you used to "Save As" with the proper application to open it.
