    Hello,
not sure if this is the appropriate forum for the question, but ...

I have about 5000 individual .dbf files (database files) that I need to open and fiddle about with. Rather than go through these 5000 files one by one, I'm wondering is there some kind of merge program that could stick these files together into one or more larger files?

The files are all the same type - the filelds within them are all the same, just different data for different dates. I'll open them with anything that opens a .dbf file - Filemaker or Excel or something like that.

Can this be done? Any program or way of doing it?

    thanks

Thanks PeteC, most listings are for text files or don't work for me. Need a bit more specific help.
