    Some sites open popup style windows when you click on an internal link.

    Is there a way to force the link to open in a full window?

    This is a help, say, when you want to email the URL of that window. The London Times does this, much to my irritation.

    You can try this to make the location bar visible on popup windows (not exactly what you are looking for).

    about:config
    search for dom.disable_window_open_feature.location
    change value from false to true
    test by going to problem site with popup windows...

    it works here with mozilla 1.4/1.6 and firefox 0.8.
