I have a Win98 SE Pc and trying to run 'disk defragmentor' and when it runs it just sits there.

I've turned off my antivirus pgm, firewall pgm before I run this.
I've also looked in 'msconfig' and did not see anything that would stop this.

    Any ideas.
    Thanks.
    Bill

Start computer in 'safe mode' (F8). Empty Recycle Bin, Disk Clean-Up, Scan Disk then Defragg. When finished restart in normal mode.

Try this terrific little utility! GEODisk 1.0.8

I've been using it successfully for several months now and it's a real time saver/valuable tool for defragging your system. It can be found here:
    GEODisk
    or here:

Try it and see what you think - YRMV!

Let the board know what you think and how it worked for your system!GEODisk
