There is a hidden 'send to' folder in C:\Documents and Settings\username that you can drag-n-drop or cut/paste a shorcut to most anything you want. Hope that's what you're looking for. :)

    FileTargets.

It let's you set up folders that you use often, or browse for a folder.

And though the default is "Copy ", it will move if the Shift key is pressed. The default can be changed to "Move ", too.

    Zander,
I was unable to get anything on that MS download link. Did MS pull that d/l? I did find what appears to be the same thing here. Already have it installed. Looks handy, as well as the 'move to' and 'copy to' hacks you gave Pete. Thanks guys.

Sorry about the link. I found the page and never bothered to click on the download button. Why do they even leave the page up if the download link leads to nowhere? Leave it to MS. It's probably there at their site somewhere yet or it could be that being it's for win95 they've pulled the plug on it all together. It does appear though that the one you found is the same thing.

Quite alright Zander. I wasn't even looking for it, but after thinking about it a bit, decided I'd like to have it. :D

    peterjon,

Check THIS out. I've been using it for years and haven't lost or corrupted anything yet.

    HTH :)

If you don't particularly care for dragging & dropping or want something much simpler, I'd suggest that you look for Windows 95 Power Toys.

Send to any folder is included and it's compatible with all OS including XP. You'll have to install the complete package to get it but you don't have to use the ones you don't want, you can also uninstall them.

Thanks to Indutch! The Trogladite software for 'Send To' is what I have been hoping to find and which I lost when re-formatting!
