Can't open any .exe programs after Virus

I got hit with th W32/SirCam@MM Virus. i believe that I have it removed except now I cannot open any .exe programs. I believe that this .exe has been lost from my registry. The error meesiage I get when attempting to open a program is: This file does not have a program associated with it for performing this action. Create an association in the Folder Options control panel ".

Go here and dowlnoad the virus removal tool for the flavor of virus you got.

A temporary fix would be to rename the *.exe file to *.com but you definately want to run the removal tool to fix everything
