Marvin, You can install almost any app on your PC.
The install program that comes with the app does not look
to see if the app is compatible running with your OS.
Compatibility issues only/mostly occur when you start the app,
as you have found. You may have to uninstall it and maybe look
if the author offers a version compatible when running with your OS.
    regards

Would it be possible that you have the first version of windows 98, and the program needs 98 Second Edition?
From an internet page on this software.
    Jump! Music, Inc.
has gone out of business. We are not aware of any sources of technical support.

Could not find a hit on Google for your error. So I started to truncate the error line to see if I could find anything.....
Click on this German Tranlated site.
The above is a shot in the dark... but having CD drive / ASPI drivers / w9x's issues in reference to a music program certainly is not a stretch... gives you a place to start.... good luck.
