My monitor Mag 986FS screen is all blurry, icon's words etc. This just occurred somehow over night. I turned it on this AM and it is what looks like out of focus. I tried the monitor on my other computer and it is fine.
I am running XP Pro with a Radeon 9000 video card. Both have been working fine for months up to today. My second monitor that have hooked up is fine. (different port.)

Any suggestions of what could be causing this is appreciated, XP settings etc.

What happens with second monitor hooked to troubled port? If it's fuzzy there, I'd say pull the card, clean the contacts with a pencil eraser and put back in. Check with ATI for updated drivers. If no change, I'd suggest card is failing.

Try reloading the video driver - if that doesn't solve the problem switch monitors between ports - I assume from your post that this card supports dual monitors??

    Thank you for your reply's.

I changed the screen resolution from 1024 X 768 to 1280 by 768 and it works fine. When I change back it is blurry. Some reason it will no longer work with the smaller resolutions. If I can't live with this then I will try re installing the video driver.

Just a thought, have you checked the refresh rates of the displays?

    Andy.
