can't copy paste / access to properties...

This is probably a repeted subject, but i did a search and i didn't find anything...

. I Have a server running windows 2000 server

. every time i connect to the internet (cable), i can't copy paste files, i can't access to properties (for exemple the network interfece cards properties).

This is obvious a virus...

I have the antivirus updated and i have a firewall, even so....

Any help on this suject will be apreciated...

Check your event logs for errors/warnings or even strange informational entries at the time you connect to the internet.

 

Well i checked the event logs but i didn't find anything related, i installed the windows 2000 server one more time from scratch, made all the necessary upgrades and protections before i connected to the internet, and even so the same problem!

A few days after a buy a rooter (with firewall, and more...), and finally i don't have that problem!

My guess is that my isp has some serious security problems... since i never had this problem with other isp's.
