I accidently unticked the box in Internet Explorer, which, when you choose to download something, makes a box pop up asking whether you want to Open or Save the file.

When I click to download something now it automatically downloads into temporary internet files and is rather frustrating.

Any ideas how to get this box ticked again?

Ive looked in Tools>Options>Advanced tab and cant see anything.

    Thanks in advance.

If you're using windows xp open any explorer window and click tools>folder options>file types. In the list, find the file type that you were downloading at the time (zip for example). Click on it to highlight it and then click the advanced button. Put a check mark in the box next to the line that says "confirm open after download ". If you're using win9x do the same except I believe the button you have to click on says edit (don't remember for sure).
