Since my last format and update, WinXP Home +sp1a+patches, when I boot I'm asked to choose an account.
This never happened to me before, I've always just booted directly to the desktop without having to "login ".
Is there a way I can make this happen again?
I have only one user/account on the machine and its me.
    Thanks

Start, Run and type "control userpasswords2" (don't type the quotes) and untick "Users must enter ...... ".

Also, if for some reason you're not an administrator, go to Start, Run and type "control userpasswords2 (don't type the quotes), click Properties against your name and make yourself an administrator.
