 i just signed up with a dsl account and tried to send a group email and could not, some in the group have a wrong address and it will not send to the ones that are good. why don't the wrong addresses just bounce and the good ones go??

LaNell--Can you successfully send a message to just one person (especially an address you know is "good ")? Perhaps your Send function is not properly set up.

I received the following PM from LaNell, but thought it best to continue the discussion here.
"my send seems to be set up correctly, it always worked when I had a dial up acct. now that I have dsl it does not work, what do you think I should check out in the send folder?? thanks, LaNell "

LaNell--Not sure whether you answered my earlier question or not. Now that you have DSL are you able to send an email message to anyone person separately from a group?
If no, then I suspect your existing settings are not correct for the new DSL service. These settings are found in OE Tools|Accounts|highlight the account in question|Properties. The General and Servers tabs have most of the important settings. But unless you know what to enter, you will have to ask your DSL provider. (An alternative when you are at the Accounts window is to click Add, which sets up a new account using a Wizard. But again, you need to know what to enter in the various boxes.)
You may be interested in this site, but again you have to be told by your DSL provider what settings to enter.

P.S.--are you able to receive email?
