PCPitstop reports my video performance at 57Mp/s, at about 25% of identical card, Nvidia GEForce4 MX 440 8Xagp. I have downloaded and installed the latest drivers, same results.

    Any help here??

I have the Nvidia GeForce MX440 4x AGP Model. PCPitstop gives me a Performanc reading of 224.67MP/s (116% of 166 Similar).

I would say you do seem to have a problem.

    Video Board
    Performance is 224.67 MP/s (116% of 166 Similar)
My Direct X version is 4.08.01.0881
    Open GL version is 4.00
    Resolution is 800 x 600 pixels
    Colors is 65,636
    Acceleration options is Enabled

    Also:
"The speed of the computer when displaying video, in millions of pixels per second (MP/s), times the number of bits per pixel (bpp) of the display configuration, to yield millions of bits/second (Mb/s).
    225 MP/s x 16 bpp =3595 Mb/s

Check to see if yours is similar to any of my readings

Indreed: sorry to take so long with this, have another BSOD, "try another video adapter "

    Latest PCPitstop video test results:

    Video Resolution: 800X600 32bit

    Video Score: 65.91, Bits/pixels: 32

    Identical cards: (25) Video Score: 220, Bits/pixels 16

I don't see any other relevant information.

Last test last week showed video score: 59

Is there some other way to test this card?? Buddy on bbs board says card may be failing?

    Any info appreciated.

    Martin

The latest results looked ok to me, at least I think so with that score of 220 you posted. My best was the 224 I posted earlier.

As one retiree to another :D One suggestion I do have though, is take your Display properties settings back to "High Color (16 Bit) ".

    Hope this helps.

Guess I typed it wrong. My speed was 65.91. The 220 was the high speed for like cards.

    Sorry for the confusion.

    Thanks for the comeback.

:) YUP!! it does sound like maybe a new card is in order. I state this only if the card is set to original specs, because that card should have better readings than what you're getting.

    Good luck
