Okay this is another universe to me, please help, and I apologise for repeating, but I really cant find the post that could help me.

I have just bought a 4port ADSL router, I have instaleld and configued according to the manual. The internet works fine, Games are ok.

***But I cant download things from P2P sofwares such as Bit Torrent, WinMX.***

I can upload alright, but download is only about 1kb instead of 16kb. (some of you who use BT might know what Im talking about)

I have read about some of the info and still dont understand. Bit Torrent uses port 8881 and 8999 (in and out i think) WinMX uses 6699 and 6257

IS THERE ANYWAY I COULD OPEN THE PORTS I NEED MANUALLY? OR CAN SOMEONE PLEASE HELP ME SOLVE THIS PROBLEM
(The fire wall has been turned off by the way)

    Thank you so much...

Make and model of the router would help.
There's got to be a way to open more than one port at a time.

Huh? One at a time, yet you have 20 open?
Please post make and model of your router, so I can get an idea what you're talking about.
