    Hi ehauff,

Welcome back. I was afraid that we'd scared you away, but it sounds as though you've been busy. I've got a GigaByte board, too ... the GA-7DXR+, and I've never had a single problem with it in the two years I've had it.

Glad to hear that you've got your RAID up and running, but I'll say it again ... if you're using RAID 0, and anything happens to one of the drives, you're SOL ... you lose everything.

Congratulations on a smart move. Save the raid cad, it may come in handy when you least expect it. Didn't want to dis your Promise card earlier but its one of the poorer ones. In any event, enjoy - you're much better off than you were before the GigaByte board - Good luck ......

    ;)
