If I do a clean install of Windows 95 (OSR2 if it matters), what can I chop down/remove just to get its DOS and no Windows? (I'm sick of using startup discs so I want a more permanent way to get DOS on its own. The reason I need this is because I'm going to install Windows 2000.)

If all you want to do is get the CD drive working in DOS, go to Bootdisk's, and get a file that when double clicked with a floppy in the drive, it will create a boot floppy that will give you CD-Rom support for DOS.
BTW, I believe the W2K CD is bootable.
