    Hello.

I have two hard drives. one is 13 gig (Win ME), the other is 80 gig (Win XP Pro). Now heres my question. How do I switch from one hard drive to the other?:D

If they are both of the same type, PATA or SATA, You can get a front mounted rack which makes it easy to put the one in to run WinME and the other to run WinXP.

One example is ViPowER. I have one of those but there are many others.

flaring_griever - in your signature you say your PC is 'dual boot'.

Did you do that the recommended way by installing XP on a system already running ME and put XP on a different partition?

If not, please say exactly how you set the machine up (including which OS runs on what hard drive/partition) and we can give you instructions for getting a dual-boot menu to offer you a choice when you start the PC.

The signature is for another machine. heres how everything is setup.

Hard drive 1 (IDE) 80GB: Windows XP, NTFS, Primary (MASTER) 4 Partitions, 3 extended, (ALL NTFS)

Hard drive 2 (IDE) 13 GB: Windows ME FAT32 (SLAVE) No partitions except local disk.

I have Partition Magic 8 and Boot Magic 7. Just said it to give you guys more ideas if needed. Everything connected alright.:D

The first hard drive had windows ME on it, then i upgraded to XP. It is on C drive.

The second hard drive had ME on it and still has it. It is also on drive C.

Just a thing to point out, when i start my computer up the drives are both detected and working like new.
