Problem with explorer

Hi:
I seem to be having several problems with my internet explorer and no matter what I do, I can't seem to solve the problems.
A website called "My Search" keeps taking over my search engine. I can't seem to find this "my search" anywhere to uninstall it. After it takes over, whatever screen I'm in freezes and I can't get out of the page. I've tried all the spyware detectors and defrags and everything. I also keep getting invalid page faults with Kernel32.dll and MSVBVM60.dll. Can anyone help!!!!!!!

what programs exactly ?

choose save, NOT OPEN
Save it to a PERMANANT folder,(for example C:\hijackthis) double-click HijackThis.exe,
and hit "Scan ". When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log" button. Press that, save the log, load it in Notepad, and copy its contents here.
Most of what it lists will be harmless, even essential,DON'T fix anything yet please. Also If you've used it before please dont have anything excluded

Place a check next to these, close all browers and programs that show in the taskbar including explorer folder's and hit fix selected.. usualy we say to reboot afterward but since theres no run items its not nessesary

So far so good! It seems to have solved the problem. Thank you so much! Sorry I didn't answer your question before. The spyware brands I tried were: noadware, pcbugdoctor, bazooka adware, and spykiller. Obviously not all of them, but none of them seemed to do the trick. Again--thanks!

 

Its best to stick with the most popular.. most of us here use both SpyBot and Adaware..
SpywareBlaster , and SpywareGaurd are great also

they do not conflict with eachother
all are free /well no nag contribute ware.. adware has a pro version and a free one also.


PS spykiller and SpyHunter, are not well thought of
