I have a wireless network and am wondering if by using a shared file for the profile, I can use the POP mail feature with both a laptop and a desktop. To explain a bit further, I would like to be able to download my mail to either the laptop or the desktop, and put it into a shared mail location so I can read and respond to mail from either computer. I was thinking of copying and pasting the profile from my desktop into my laptop, then loading Mozilla1.6 on my laptop which will find the profile, and then making the profile folder a shared folder. Is this the way to do it? Has anyone tried it? Your advice would be priceless!

    Hi Bob,

I can only give you information on sharing the same Mozilla 1.6 Profile between two PC's, not networked.

You would need to use the "Leave Mail on server" option in order to view the same, current, mail on both PC's. The "Sent" or Reply to the Mail would be viewable only on the PC from which it is sent.

To get around this, CC a copy to the account from which you're sending, in order to have a copy of the sent message on both PC's.
