I noticed people are frequently sent to Microsoft’s support sites for search and solving their problems.

When I go there, I just get super large letters, and sometimes a search hour glass, with MS Heading and that’s all.
Cannot find what to do to get the site readable. No problems on other web sites, except the Wells Fargo bank Web site has the all large letters.

What am I missing to make these sites readable?

    Thanks,
    Steve TS

    Hey Pete,

    Before I submitted, .......
The first place I went was to IE and found my text size already on small. Other web sites are fine, except Wells Fargo. Gives me large letters also.

It says 'done' and all I get is the top part then their site freezes when I move and get part of a large letter.

Do I need to enable/disable (security?) something to view these sites?
    Any other suggestions?

    Thanks, Steve

    Steve,

It's nothing to do with Security settings - if they were not appropriate to the site you would not get to it.

I am a little at a loss as to what to suggest - it would seem to be a site problem. However a standard reply to 'odd' problems is to suggest a search for spyware, etc.

If you have not already done so download ....

    Spybot

    Ad-aware

Immediately update their reference files and run Spybot before Ad-aware and delete all they find.

    Also download and run Cwshredder

    Then post back, please.

For sure the spyware removal PeteC recommended. Always a good idea and something I do regularly even if no problems are showing up.

For this particular issue - a thing to try is tools~internet options~accessibility tab and check the two block to ignore font .... and see if you can read them. It won't correct the problem and it won't tell what caused the problem but it may at least give you access to those two sites while we work on a cause & fix.
