This MSI must be launched through Setup

Every time I try to run a program or start a program in win xp Pro I get the message several times before the program loads
This MSI must be launched through set up. Anyone have any suggestions on how or what happened. And how I can correct this.

I ran the program and found some left over Norton ghost. But I am still getting the problem. I think I'll try to re-boot and see if that does not clear up the problem. Let me know if that is advisable?

Still having the problem. I have uninstall all related norton products and I have rbooted still coming up with the message

That didn't help. But thanks. I think it's a problem with a program I d/l and might be a problem with the installer? I don't know anymore. I think I'll just uninstall.
