Anyone know if there is a way to set up Win 2000 SP4 so that after I come out of suspend (power management) that I do NOT have to enter my password?

I thought I read it somewhere but can't remember. I have TweakUI running.

    THANKS!
    John

    Yes!
In XP, and should be the same in 2K, but can't check till I go to work.

    Start|Run and type gpedit.msc
User Configuration, then Admimistrative Templates, System, Power Management and for Prompt for password on resume from hibernation/suspend change to Not configured or Disabled

You are good up until Power Management. There is no Power Management under System. There is only: Logon/Logoff & Group Policy.

I looked around and could not find Power Management or anything about password after suspend or hibrination.

    THANKS

    Woops,
One of the differences between 2K and XP.
How about this one. Control Panel, Power options, Advanced and untick the box Prompt for password when computer goes off standby.
