    Hello All,

I was asked the other day if it is possible to not have an e-mail address displayed at the top of a message. I couldn't answer the question so I come to you seeking knowledge.

    Example: Aunt Bertha <prorassler@coldmail.com>

I guess the question is this: Is it possible to have the words "Aunt Bertha" displayed at the top of a message but not the carets and everything between them?

This is as simple as I can explain the concern. I hope it makes sense to somebody.

    TIA

    Mike

indutch--The answer to your question "Is it possible...?" is Yes.
The guys who send you spam do it all the time.
But I do not know how to do it. :D
    Maybe someone else will tell.

    Thanks for the reply, Jim.

I guess this will just have to remain a mystery until I can track down a Spammer and torture him into revealing the "secret ". ;)

As to the form of torture? - Oh, I don't know, maybe have everyone on WindowsBBS 'forward' all of the Spam we all receive in the next six months, say . . . to his mother !! :D :D

I'm sure there is an answer to this question. Be it positive or negative, I'll wait for it patiently, dammit!

    Thanks, again. :)
