Server Busy msg

    Strange message when logging on to WIN XP-home

    It is in a dialog box titled Server Busy

    This action cannot be completed because the other program is busy. Choose "Switch to" to activate the busy program and correct the problem

    SWITCH TO REPLY

    When I click on "switch to" , loading continues but my system has been acting strangely and I am sure something is wrong.

    I may have to reload XP but I want to avoid that (naturally :rolleyes: )

    Details would really help. Which app? Any event log errors or warnings with more information?

    Yes details would help if I had them This is on boot and I cannot get any more details. I looked into msconfig starups and couldnt not find anything there that looked right

    I have just re-installed windows keeping my settings and it did not come up on the first boot so it may have fixed itself. Will report further but looks good so far.
