Shared Drive

    I have lost the option to share a drive. Actually, it is a new computer, so it might not have been there in the first place. Running windows 2000 SP4. How do I get this option back?
    The c drive needs to be accessable via dialup, thus it needs to be shared.

    You'll need file & printer sharing turned on for the connection you'll be using.

    When that is done, the C drive will already be shared - administrative share named C$ (so hidden but there). You can't safely change it. Anyone needing to open it will require admin rights on the PC though.
