Every time I reboot my PC the location bar in IE has been cleared out although it SHOULDN'T be. I've checked my settings in Tweakui and in the IE options and NEITHER has clearing of temp internet files or the IE history set! Oddly enough, the history is still intact ONLY the location bar gets cleared (I'd actually like the opposite to happen). Is there anywhere else where this may be set by accident?

    Thx.

Not sure about the location part but if you set the history retention time to zero days the history gets cleared every time you shut down all running instances of IE.

Yeah, I know about that, I'm wondering why the location bar is being cleared out though while the history is not. Very odd.

Could be your AutoComplete is turned off.

Internet Options > Content > AutoComplete

No, Autocomplete is on for all 3 (Web addresses, Forms, User names and passwords on forms), but as it says this is for forms. Don't see that that would affect the location bar :-/
