recently I had problems with my Internet explorer I tried a new intallation and sfc /scannow but with no succsess so i installed advanced browser which seems to be working fine. The problem is when I click on hyperlinks in Outlook Express or Incredimail because the try to open Internet explorer and so freezes my computer. I removed internet explorer from the Add/Remove window components and also removed access from the Set Program access defaults but still the problem remained. Clicking hyperlinks in web pages while browsing creats no problem because it opens a new page in advanced browser. Is there some kind of solution instead of copying and pasting links from my mail programs

Go to the Advanced Browser site and read the FAQ's - your question re. OE and links is answered there.

It also says that you need IE installed.

I followed your instructions and all I had to do was to go to tools , Advanced Browser options , Files and protocols and set Advanced browser as my default browser. I previously ignored this option because the first time I opened this browser I was asked If I wanted Advanced Browser as Default and I accepted so I really didn't give any notice to that option. Anyway a big thanks for your reply and another lesson for me not to take anything forgranted, regards ,
