I am running win2000 and the problem however is with my external HD. I was about to use Acronis Diskcleanser and did start it but had to stop it within 2-3 seconds for an unrelated reason. Windows is telling me the HD is unformatted and Norton is giving me the unknown file system error when I tryied to run disk doctor. I tried to use the repair function on the win2000 install disc but it doesnt seem to want to let me work with the external drive. Is there any fix I can use before I try to recover 50 gigs of data and reformat the HD. Thanks
