I have a new Logitech Internet Navigator Keyboard. When I press the "My Home" button, it brings up my Yahoo home page, as I configured it to do, but it brings it up with Netscape. I have IE6 set as my Internet browser.

I rang Logitech, and they couldn't help after confirming that IE is set as the default browser. They suggest I ring Microsoft, but everyone knows that's $$$$!

I've already thrown away the box the keyboard came in, so please don't suggest I take it back to the store, but it will be too bad if I can't make full use of this fancy keyboard.

Sounds like something in your system was not reset to use IE as the default.

Try the free utility from Here and see if it fixes you up.

Newt, I downloaded and installed the Set Browser freeware, but I see in the ReadMe file that it doesn't include Win XP. Should I not continue?

Ok, could someone else please tell me if it's safe to download and install SetBrowser when it doesn't mention XP? Thank you.

I did a little searching on this at Google and from what I can see, you should be able to use it. I'd set a restore point and give it a try.

Netscape still comes up from Logitech keyboard

Everything looks like IE is my default browser, just as it did before I tried SetBrowser, but the "My Home" button on my Logitech Internet Navigator keyboard still brings up Netscape. I guess there's nothing to do but uninstall Netscape???
