Reboot Bug, (windows server)

    i have it on my server, but cant find the friggin file to download, if its on windows update, i cant get it there because the bug cuts in b4 it downloads... so i have to download it on another computer and transfer,

    where can i get it from????

    sorry, the file that stops that bug which restarts your computer! tis drivin me mad

    OK, after thinking on this one a minute, I think you might be talking about the Blaster worm patch.?

    Open task manager and see if there is an entry named msblast.exe

    End task it if there. Then go to the control panel>performance and maintenance>administrative tools>services. Scroll down to 'Remote Procedure Call', right click>properties>recovery tab, reset responses to restart the service.

    This should allow you to keep IE open to apply the patch and download the removal tool.
