i have 3 different problems - hope someone can help

    first thing after comp turns on I get an error msg which reads

    1.st error msg -
    K Host.exe-Bad Image
    The application or DLL c:\Documents and settings/(my name)Application Date\Kontiki\kdx\kdx 10150304.dll is not a valid Windows image. Please check this against your installation diskette.

    2nd error msg -
    Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library
    Runtime Error!
    Program C:\Program Files\Common Files\Keenware|Wupdater.exe
    Abnormal Program Termination

    3rd error msg -
    WupDater.exe - Application Error
    The instruction at "0x73de75d8" referenced memory at "0x0014b0la ".
    The memory could not "read ". Click on ok to terminate the program.

    Hopefully someone out there can help me please.

    See this discussion about wupdater.exe. Symptoms different but same filename causing problems.

    Does the computer get past these messages and boot into windows?
    When did this problem begin? After screensaver or Kazaa download? Have you tried doing a system restore to before the problem began?

    Kontiki is part of that ad-/spy-ware package that C-NET calls its fast download option.

    It isn't that much faster, and installs junk.

    Remove the download program from Add/Remove, delete the Kontiki folder, and run AdAware.

    problems fixed

    thanks for your replies - went into my control panel and started uninstalling a few things and looks like whatever I uninstalled got rid of the problems - thanks again for your replies
