Curious About Virus Sending Email

    Since I've never been infected(knocking on wood), when a virus goes into an address book, and sends out emails, does it leave a copy in the sent folder? Or is it written not to leave evidence?

    Hi aleekat

    depends upon the malware - some nasties have their own mailing engines included and mess directly with your ISPs SMTP server. If it's one of those I doubt you would see it in "Sent Items "
