    HELP HELP

I have the fun task of trying to rebuild old ****. first off the patient was a winnt4 box. I removed the hard disk the ethernet card and a Scuzzy card. I wanted to replace the hard disk with a another. it was not formatted however. so I plugged it up and got the NTLDR error. So i figured I can boot from a DOS disk. nothing works....so where do I start. I just want to install this hard disk and run fdisk format etc then install cd rom support then install winders 98....WHAT SHOULD I DO ARHHHH

If you inserted a DOS boot floppy and the PC gave you an NTLDR error, it wasn't seeing the boot floppy. Either the floppy drive is bad so it doesn't see the disk or the BIOS is set to boot from Hd as the first option.

Check the BIOS and make sure it is set to A, C boot sequence. If so, the drive isn't quite right.
