Hi:....Periodically, I'll get a dark blue screen on start up (it is normally set at light blue). The icons are there and I can proceed with normal funtions, but I wonder what might cause this to happen. When I reboot - the screen comes up as it should and act OK for another 2- 3 months.

Thanks, Broni, I'll try that. Great to see your posts again.

But, PM - don't want to sound too stupid, but I can't figure that one and I did not receive it. (If it's personal message - do you have my address?)

Trident, click on the little button on this webpage that says "User CP" on it, you'll find your way from there.

You are suppose to be receiving e-mail notification, if you are getting new PM, unless you opted out.

broni:.....I'm not getting an e-mail notice - and I haven't *opted out*. However, I am using MailWasher, and not recognizing the sender - *bounced* the message.

I'm not familiar with Mailwasher, but...
All those e-mail notifications should include "WindowsBBS" as a sender, so maybe, you can adjust Mailwasher settings.
Do you receive an e-mail notification when someone replies in your post?

If you're logged in when you come to this site there will be a notice at the bottom of the main forums page if you have any personal messages. It's easy to miss it if you aren't looking for it.
