Changing size of Task Bar

Somehow, my task bar got changed to large size with large icons and I have not been able to change it back to normal size. In addition, the drop down menu "Favorites" in IE got changed to double spacing, rather than normal single spacing. Both these changes occurred at the same time, but I don't know what I did to cause them. This is a minor problem, I know, but would appreciate any help. Virtual Dr. was unable to help.

 

Try Right clicking desktop, goto properties, click appearance, and change the font size to normal, click effects button and uncheck use large icons.

Post back if that doesn't help.

 

Did not work. I will just live with it. Thank you anyway.

Try Right Clicking on the Task Bar
Choose View
Choose Small Icons
