window sizing

For some reason when I first turn on my computer and hit the internet explorer in my Quick Launch toolbar it opens up in the smaller window! I've tried to maximize and then close out, hoping it would remember for next time but it keeps opening in the smaller window. It only does this when I first turn on computer. Once computer has been on and I have maximized and then gotten out of internet explorer, it will remember during that session. But with new session, I need to repeat process.
Help.

 

Right click on the shortcut and choose properties. Where it says "run" , make sure it's set to maximized.

 

I was looking for that! Couldn't find it. Anyway....checked, and it said "normal" window so I changed it to maximize. Let's see if it makes the difference. Not sure why it would've changed.
