Logon problem

    After pressing CTRL+ALT+DEL, a window comes up which would be used for a server message (with the gray background after pressing ctrl+alt+del and before logging on). It has a simple 'square' in it and has a square for the title. This has happened ever since I installed WinCleaner. Is there anything I can do to fix it? It is nothing more than a nuisance.

    Have you tried uninstalling WinCleaner?

    What about restoring from the last SystemState backup or SystemRestore point?

    Look in your local computer policy, and there's an option for a login message box. If there's not a message set, but the option is set to yes, then just the grey box will show up.
