I keep getting a page with a fold in the upper right corner and with a windows insignia in the middle of the page, that appears on my desktop with a squiggle mark under it. When I try to find out what it is in properties, there isn't a clue. Can anyone tell me why this is happening? It happens after I close a program (not sure which one). I would like to know how to avoid cluttering up my desktop with this

Hmmm. I wonder how many hours have been expended by people fruitlessly Googling for "Desktop Squiggle ". Why do sites, such as that post by the Hon N Vail, not mention the word "squiggle "? I mean, who besides Ramona, has ever heard of a "tilde "? Tilde indeed  It sounds like some archaic medical treatment: Lie still, me dear, and I'll rub in some tilde before applying the poultice.

LOL - Brett, you gotta get out more old son. It's mostly a Spanish/Portuguese thing so it has to sound like a medicina.

Thanks ... I thought it was windows because of the windows insignia on the icon page.

I'll just ignore it. If I try to rename it and save it every time it will drive me crazy. As long as I know it isn't from another vendor, I don't care. I've been running Ad-aware and Spybot thinking someone was just standing there in plain view. Thanks again.
