Im using Win2k in the office and XP on my laptop,
I really like the secure stable feel of Win2k and sadly although XP has never let me down it doesnt inspire the same confidence.

Im tempted to downgrade from XP to 2k but the only feature of XP that I would really miss is the personalised start menu.

Im wondering if its possible to have this as I dont use the XP theme on my laptop and prefer to use the smoother windows classic appearence instead, so in theory they would look and act similar.

I have looked everywhere I can think of in win2k, but I cant find any options for a personalised menu.
    (Google wasnt much help either)

Thanks in advance for your time and help
    TBP

Start - Settings - Taskbar & Start Menu - General - Use Personalized Menus.

As far as I know, this is a feature only available in XP.

Oh well it as worth a try, it would have been nice to have that feature in 2k.

Thanks for taking the time to reply, brett, quakbal & Arie
