Does anyone know of a program that will let me play a 3000 mp3 playlist randomly, while keeping its place from session to session?

What I have tried seem to play the same 100 or so songs over and over.

    Thanks.

Musicmatch Jukebox might do it. You can add all the songs to a single library (MM will do this automatically if you so choose) and then click options>music library>play my library. If you have the library window open you can just right click somewhere in the list and choose play my library. The reason I say it might do what you want is because I've never left it play long enough to see if it plays the entire library without repeating a song or not. It does however, remember where you left off. As long as you don't clear the playlist, the next time you open MM the song that you were playing when you last closed MM will be highlighted in the playlist. Do the play my library thing again, and it'll start with that song as long as you don't click on one of the others in the playlist. Guess the only way to find out if it works the way you want is to give it a try. ;)

Thank you Zander. I'll try it for awhile and get back to you.

Right on, Zander. Sorry for the delay, but it took me awhile to get up to over 100 songs.

I was actually using MusicMatch Jukebox, but I was making playlists instead of loading everything into the media library.

    I'm hearing songs I didn't even know I had.

    Thanks.

Glad to hear it works for you. Now, out of curiousity, I have a question for you. Does having that many songs in one library have any effect on the time it takes MM to load? I had wondered about this when I first posted to this thread. As I said, just curious.

Just the initial load to the media library takes a minute or two. After that, it starts right up with little, if any, delay.

Add DFX, and you have a weeks worth of great listening.

    Thanks again for the help.
