Whenever I click on a link in my email, any program I am using, or IM messenger(s), Notepad opens up, not my web browser. The Notepad is blank/empty. How do I change this to my webbrowser.

I'm using Win98se with the Win95 shell, 1024mb of DDR RAM, 1.8 AMD XP processor. I do not have IE on my computer. I'm using Kmeleon as my webbrowser.

I want it to open up Kmeleon instead of the notepad. Thanks for your help.

Hi, I do not know if the browser has options to assign it to open
a .url suffixed file. If so use the option.
If not, you can edit the program name that opens such a file in
    Windows Explorer/Tools/ Folder Options/File Types.
Scroll down to .url and edit it to point to the browser exe path.
    regards
