I have a Gateway E-4600 Intel Pentium 4, 1300 MHz, 100 MHz external bus(whatever that means) with W98SE, 128mg RDram installed, two 64mg sticks. I want to upgrade and ordered two 128mg sticks from Gateway and they sent me 1 256mg which I cannot use. Now I have to go through the hassel of returning to get my money back and they want me to reorder (NO WAY)

I have found exactly what I want, Samsung PC800, Non Ecc, 2 128mg sticks on a place called Memory Supplier.com for $90.00 cheaper than Gateway. I have never ordered online before and am wondering if anyone is familar with that company. I understand it is through Yahoo Shopping. I tried to understand their privacy policy, but what confused me was it said they retain my credit card number along with other personal information.

Call me an old paranoid lady but have learned it's better to be safe than sorry.

    It's Memory Supplier.com (Mis-spelled the first time)

    RDRAM upgrade

Just to let you know, I just did the same upgrade on my Gateway 1.5Ghz. I installed 2 128 mg sticks along with what was already installed, I believe it had 128 installed. Remember that all 4 slots must be used when dealing with Rambus. You should see a market increase in performance. Boot time should go down also.
